Firstly, welcome to my website. This will be my own corner of the web where I will share my personal projects, achievements and professional practices in portfolio format.
I began my music journey at the age of 14 when I first became a DJ. In the early 2010s, when Electronic Dance Music was becoming more commercial, I began mixing Dubstep. Artists like Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, and Doctor P were my typical "Go-To" artists when it came to DJing in my early career. By age 17, I knew that the music scene was where I wanted to be. After years of practising and recording my own sets as a "bedroom DJ", you could say I promoted myself to "Bedroom Producer".
Time, dedication, and motivation to learn and improve are what brought me to studying Music in an academic setting. I studied a Level 3 Diploma in Electronic Music Production, where I began to understand studio practices at a more professional level, along with acoustics and technical aptitude towards mixing and mastering recorded tracks. Shout out to Access Creative & dBs Institute.
At the time of writing this introductory blog, I have a weekly schedule which is combined with my academic progression at BIMM University studying BA (Hons) in Music Production & Music Business. Regularly presenting on a West of England local radio station and work to develop as a journalist with a variety of different studio productions & recordings, as well as articles for magazines and other media sources. Being a Journalist is a title that I hold with pride.
Being privileged to interview some of Bristol's finest up-and-coming producers. Supporting and developing musical artists and offering guidance on promotion and progressing their musical career.
